Shee-Oak is now in print. To begin its journey as a paperback, I will be doing an Author Talk at Randwick Library in July 2022 with the well-known author Dr Anita Heiss. It will be a lively discussion as I have known Anita for sometime.
Areas to be discussed include the significance of road trips and how they have captured the imagination of authors and readers alike. The distinctiveness of the Australian landscape with its unique sense of place; the choices women make about romance and life; the inspiration I drew on to write this novel and my plans to write future books.
Anita is a prolific writer and proud member of the Wiradyruri national of Central NSW Australia. https://www.anitaheiss.com/ Her latest book, Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray, recently won the New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards, Indigenous Writers' Prize. The title is written in Wiradyuri language and translates to River of Dreams.
